That terrible Patriot's Day flood I had to evacuate our pregnant sheep out of flooded pens to a high ground next to the house. By then water was too deep, and girls didn't want to come out of the sheds. Oreo, the brains of the flock, led everyone out as soon as I opened the gate. Our flock had to stay on our front lawn untill water receded. Vivika must have injured herself that night. We will miss our beautiful Vivika, and are grateful to still have her daughters. They are big, meaty, milky girls. Her Kostur AI yearling daughter Gracie had beautiful twins. Mom and twins are doing great!

  We also used Gracie's brother Kosturson for breeding some of our ewes. He passes on his meaty conformation to his lambs. We are very happy with his lambs!

Hefna will never go hungry!

As beautiful as her brother, Solva will be added to our breeding group this year.

We love Nuska’s lambs, and every year we add one more of her girls to the flock.

Long body, wide chest and rump, soft and crimpy wool.

She looks to be polled so far, not even a sign of horns.

Her dam has very fine silky fleece, good conformation except for an average chest.

She is very sweet, and will run to meet me at the gate.

Another Nuska line lamb out of a yearling. His wool is  jet black, he has wide horns, strong chest and back, long body. Calm boy with great genetics.

We have been breeding Icelandic sheep for about 10 years, but have never had a lamb as outstanding in every way as Magna. Her chest and shoulders are incredible! Very blocky girl with loads of fine and very crimpy wool.

Magna prefers people company, and runs when we call her name.

Udi son, and what an excellent ram!  He has perfect strong back, very wide chest and rump, thick neck and legs. His wool is crimpy and fine, his horns are thick and look great so far. His dam Falda is a spotted badgerface with wide horns and great conformation. We’d love to keep him, but he is too related to our flock.

Our treasure Tanya has done it again! This little girl has her conformation and personality.

Tanya is a Dodge Ram granddaughter, and her lambs all get her personality, wool and conformation. She is a black badgerface that carries moorit and spotting.

Asta seems to be polled, as her sire is out of polled lines. This is great, we now have a polled Tanya line!!!

Alvara is Althea’s carbon copy. She is a huge girl with wide chest and rump, strong back, thick legs and neck.

Soft, beautiful wool on this lamb as well.

Althea Rose is getting older, and we need to keep her daughter to continue her legacy at Still Waters Farm.

He lambs have sold every year, but this one will stay.

This ram is just full of personality! Very sweet and funny boy with great meat conformation, perfect wool, very correct ram. His mom’s first lambing, she had the twins with extreme ease, and is a perfect mom with plenty of milk for her twins. Jona is Vivika’s daughter with long, wide body and huge rumen.

This boy is extremely promising as a sire.

Twin to Pistol, and just as exceptional! He has the most beautiful fleece and sweet personality on top of a very correct conformation!

What a great ram, he has much to offer with AI bloodlines on top of excellent maternal line.
